Classic Healey harnesses frequently use bullet-style terminals where a male and female connector snap together.Wires in a Healey loom are often inserted into plastic housings with tiny retention tabs.
The snap-connector tool or pin extractor lets you release those tabs so you can pull the wire out for repair or replacement.
This avoids bending the tab or cutting the wire, which would make the terminal unusable.Classic Healeys use a lot of Lucas electrical fittings and harnesses with plug-in connectors. Over time these can corrode, loosen, or get brittle.
